That struggle is necessary for basic survival; yet each soul also bears a deeper purpose and a greater design. The seeds of a second adventure are planted within us, waiting to become conscious as the core imagination of the soul and the heart’s hidden destiny.
The soul adventure arises from the inner myth and unique story trying to unfold from within us and reveal our true calling and genuine purpose in life. Because our calling keeps calling, each crisis we face can become a turning point for the soul; but only if we are willing to go off the maps that others have made.
The soul’s adventure reveals an “inner dharma” or natural way in which we can contribute to the world and make genuine human community more possible. Each soul is unique and we each have something to give from our essential nature. When the future of the earth seems most uncertain, it becomes more essential for us to seek the soul’s great adventure.
